Hundreds of hunting dogs are abandoned after hunting season. This epidemic of needless cruelty must end.
Hunting Dog Protection Project (HDPP) is a nonprofit organization committed to protecting abandoned hunting dogs in South Carolina and the southern United States. We raise awareness, share their stories, and advocate for change so these dogs are no longer left behind.

Tanner was found on the side of the road in South Carolina, hungry and scared.
No other dogs should experience what Tanner experience. Sadly, this is the reality for many dogs in the southern United States.
